Through the eyes of our beneficiaries-a bene's diary

Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the wayyyyy...
Christmas is here again! And it is my favorite time of the year because I get to play games, win prizes and most importantly get together with my friends at RSPVH Christmas Event!
This year, it is held at NTU Alumni Club. It is my first time there. It is such a HUGE place !...to be honest, I don't even know what is NTU and what is Alumni. All I know is that there are many big sister and big brother volunteers who always bring smiles on our faces. The event took place after lunch. Yesterdayday, I had my favorite chicken rice for lunch. Yummy...
There are a total of 4 teams for the station games. My team is called GINGERBREAD MAN ! It is such a cute name. Throughout the whole event, me and my teammates explored the whole place finding the different stations and then complete different tasks. We are also awarded points based on speed, how well we carry out the tasks and not forgetting team spirit.
After games segment, we had dinner! Guess what?! We were served Japanese food! I love Japanese food yipeeeeeee. Not only was there good food, there was also singing performance by some of the beneficiaries and volunteers. They can sing really well. THUMBS UP. Now it is time for the long awaited prize presentation. My group came in 3rd place. We got some snacks as prizes.
Yesterday was a really fun day. Although everyone was really tired, our excitment still held high. Oh oh and I made some new friends because a number of alumni from NTU joined us for the event as well. It was nice knowing them.
I got to go for dinner now. Bye :)
